Derby Street Shops In Hingham Welcomes Mill 77 Exchange
The family-run store features a variety of upscale, recycled, industrial, and custom-made furnishings.

HINGHAM, MA — Derby Street Shops has announced the opening of its newest local business, Mill 77 Exchange, which opened to the public Thursday, March 11.
Mill 77 Exchange is a specialty home décor store that features a variety of upscale, recycled, industrial, and custom-made furnishings. The new store spans 8,000 square feet and includes many vintage-inspired items, including pottery, wall art, and throw blankets and pillows, handcrafted in its own custom build shop.
"Mill 77 Exchange is an exceptional brand that was built on family values and a passion for making spaces feel special," said Sherri Schuler, General Manager of Derby Street Shops, in a statement. "As our first store opening of 2021, we’re thrilled to welcome Mill 77 into our mix of nine local businesses. From beautiful handcrafted furniture and décor to charming art and giftable items, our guests will find so many great pieces to fill their homes."

Mill 77 was founded by Gary and Julie Bergeron while they were moving out of their family home and were looking for a place to sell their furnishings. The family-run business initially featured the couple's own refinished furniture and décor at its first location in Lynnfield.
“We couldn’t have chosen a better location than Derby Street Shops to bring our unique brand of vintage inspired home furnishings to our customers living on the South Shore,” said Julie Bergeron in a statement. “As a ‘Family First’ company, Mill 77 is a place where our children and grandchildren work alongside us to help keep our family dream alive. We look forward to sharing our passion with the Hingham community.”

Mill 77's current hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. The store is following COVID-19 safety guidelines, including mandatory mask-wearing and social distancing.
