Driver Cited After Rear-Ending A School Bus In Hingham
The incident took place at the South Street train crossing on Tuesday afternoon.
HINGHAM, MA — A driver has been issued a citation after crashing into a school bus that had students onboard Tuesday afternoon, according to Hingham police.
Officers responded to a reported crash at the South Street train crossing at approximately 3 p.m. The school bus had stopped ahead of the railroad tracks, as required by Massachusetts law, when it was rear-ended by the car, said police.
"The driver of the car was cited for failure to use in stopping," said a Hingham Police Department Twitter post.
