Edaville Family Theme Park Introduces 'Not-So-Spooky Halloween' Event
Families can dress up and explore Edaville Family Theme park while trick-or-treating at every ride this October. [SPONSORED]

Edaville Family Theme Park, a renowned New England Amusement Park, is introducing a new annual “Not-So-Spooky Halloween" trick-or-treating event for kids of all ages. It takes place every weekend during the month of October, and admission allows you to visit all three of Edaville's fun-filled parks. Families will be able to trick-or-treat as they ride, roar and explore the parks. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and have the time of their lives this Halloween season.
Katrina Raspa, Public Relations Coordinator for Edaville Family Theme Park, lets us in on all the details of this innovative and fun version of theme park trick-or-treating.

Raspa: "Not-So-Spooky" is Edaville's first annual event that is being dedicated to young children! We understand that Halloween is known for being scary and unnerving, so we decided to create a "Not-So-Spooky" Halloween where our park's decor and characters have a more amicable appeal to our younger audiences!
Patch: How does the trick-or-treating work?

Raspa: At every single ride in the park, ride operators will be handing out candy and toys to trick-or-treaters as they enter the ride! The greatest part about this is that we are taking trick-or-treating to a whole new level by letting the kids ride amusement rides and trick-or-treat! How fun?!
Patch: How much is the admission, and what does it include?
Raspa: One admission ticket allows you entry to ALL THREE PARKS that Edaville has! (Thomas Land, Dino Land and Cran Central). If you are a MA/RI resident you can use our resident discount and receive up to $10 dollars off your full-priced tickets. That goes from $37 a ticket to $27. We are also doing this for NH residents for the months of October and November. Otherwise our tickets are $37.
Patch: When can we come join the fun?
Raspa: Our hours of operation for the month of October are every weekend Friday-Sunday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. We are also open on Columbus Day!
Patch: Edaville Family Theme Park is kid-friendly and parent- approved. How do you ensure children’s safety?
Raspa: To ensure children's safety and go along with our theme of a "safe trick-or-treating zone," we generated the standpoint of a parent and what they look for when it comes to Halloween and trick-or-treating. Edaville has lighting throughout the park, the candy that is handed out is nut-free and Edaville is a safe enclosed environment with a friendly staff.

Patch: What are some of the fan favorites when it comes to rides?
Raspa: Thomas Land is definitely one of our biggest attractions at the park! Journeying through the Island of Sodor, there are many famous rides like Cranky Crane Drop, Winston's Skyline, Toby's Tilting Tracks, Troublesome Trucks coaster and many more. We also have Dino Land with a tour of life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Some amusement park favorites in Cran Central, such as the Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Tilt-A-Whirl, Edaville Railroad and many more.
Patch: Do you have any other events coming up?
Raspa: Yes! We have a fantastic fall concert on Oct. 21. It is free to park guests that day. The concert is called "Peace Love and Funk." Get into the groove and feel the rhythm of the Dave Macklin Band. Specializing in r&b Motown and funk, this band brings the energy of the '70s to Edaville. Bring the family and a blanket to Edaville's concert venue on our all-new events field. Food trucks and beverage companies will be on the field going with the fall theme. If you are not at the park that day, tickets are just $20 per car load of up to five people. The event runs from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
