Hammond’s Mary Gaquin is Listing Agent for Highest Quincy Condo Transaction in 2014

QUINCY, Mass. - (July 23, 2014) – Hammond Residential Real Estate agent Mary Gaquin was the listing agent in connection with the sale of 2001 Marina Drive, Unit 903 in Quincy, which conveyed for $1,150,000 and represents the first million dollar plus condominium transaction in Quincy in 2014.

2001 Marina Drive, Unit 903 is a 2,256 square foot penthouse unit featuring sweeping views of Boston Harbor, the Harbor Islands and Marina Bay. The unit’s expansive and open floor plan includes a professionally designed kitchen with custom built cherry cabinetry, granite counters and flooring and upgraded appliances. Both the dining room and living room feature floor to ceiling windows which capture the magnificent views. In addition, there is a balcony adjacent to the dining room leading to a 30 ft. by 40 ft. private rooftop terrace. Amenities such as 24 hour concierge service and six deeded parking spaces further enhance the unit.

The town of Quincy is well-known and highly-regarded for its proximity to Boston and major highways including Routes 93, 95, and 128. In recent years, Quincy’s Marina Bay and surrounding areas have become very attractive to individuals who desire ease of commutability to Boston while enjoying all that marina living has to offer, including boardwalk shops and fine restaurants. The $1,150,000 sale of Unit 903 at Marina Bay is not only significant because it is the first million dollar plus condominium sale in 2014, but it is also one of only fourteen million dollar plus condominiums to convey in Quincy over the past ten years, according to MLS.
