Hingham Basketball Teams To Host Coaches Vs. Cancer Fundraiser

HINGHAM, MA — The Hingham High School boys and girls basketball squads will team up with rival Silver Lake to raise money for the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week. The games will be at Hingham High on Jan. 17.

Money raised goes to help research and combat childhood cancer.

Before the teams battle it out on the court, they are competing to see which one can raise the most money. Make a donation to either school's boys or girls team and help it be crowned champion. Donations are sought from both Hingham and Silver Lake Regional fins. Players can create a profile on their team's page by clicking on the girls or boys link and selecting 'Become a Fundraiser.'

The challenge is a part of the nationwide Coaches vs. Cancer Suits And Sneakers Week. Fans can follow the fundraising leaderboard here.
