Hingham Harbor Bridge Costs Increasing
A bridge is planned to encourage more pedestrian access to the area.

During the nearly two years since Hingham officials approved $275,000 in Community Preservation Funds for the construction of a bridge over Hingham Harbor, the project's price tag has spike.
The Boston Globe reported that the initial cost projection has increased 14 percent with the delay and additional funds are under consideration by town officials.
The sea-crossing bridge would create a harbor walk way along Hingham’s and is part of an extensive plans to update the harbor area.
