Hingham High Facing Off Against Brookline On WGBH Quiz Show

HINGHAM, MA — Hingham High School's quiz team advances to the quarterfinals of High School Quiz Show's 10th anniversary season, playing veteran competitor Brookline High School on Saturday, April 13 at 6 p.m. on WGBH 2. Hingham earned the spot in the qualifying round after defeating Amesbury High School 440-260 last month.

Hingham already improved from last year's showing by making the top eight and hopes to keep the momentum moving in the next round. Last year, Hingham competed hard, qualifying for the tournament's top 16, but lost to Thayer Academy 455 to 365 in the first televised round. Hingham is hoping to go farther this year.
