Hingham High School Competing In WGBH's Quiz Show

Come down to the WGBH studio and support Hingham High School as they test their wits against Amesbury.

BOSTON, MA — After competing hard in November's qualifier, Hingham High School is set to compete against Amesbury High School in the first round of WGBH's 10th Annual "High School Quiz Show."

Come support some of Hingham's brightest as they test their knowledge and quick wit in rapid fire format. The teams will answer questions in categories including math, science, pop culture and history.

If anyone wants to support the school, they are invited to attend the live taping at WGBH's Boston studio. The taping is Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Make sure to arrive as early as possible since seating is limited. For more information and to RSVP, click here. Last year, Hingham competed hard, qualifying for the tournament's top 16, but lost to Thayer Academy 455 to 365 in the first televised round. Hingham is hoping to go farther this year, especially with some support from the community.
