Hingham July 4th Fireworks, Parade and More: 2018 Guide
The annual fireworks, road race, and parade all set for the upcoming holiday!

HINGHAM, MA — A cherished tradition, the Hingham 4th of July celebration is just around the corner which means fireworks, a parade, and more.
The Hingham Lions will host the annual fireworks on Sunday, July 1. The night at Hingham Harbor includes family activities, music, food and of course, a fireworks display. Click here to give to the fireworks fundraiser.
On the morning of Independence Day, the early risers will run in the 59th annual Hingham Road Race at Hingham Middle School. Race day registration starts at 5:30 a.m. with a race time of 7 a.m. The 4.47-mile course goes down Main Street and ends under a giant American flag. Click here for more information.

Finally, the parade, with a theme that pays tribute to Hingham's volunteer's, begins at 10 a.m. The parade route starts near Hingham High School at the intersection of Pleasant and Middle streets and heads north across Route 228 before joining Main Street in Hingham Center and going towards Hingham Square. The parade will turn right on North Street and finish at Station Street. Click here for more information on the parade.
If you decide to check out the parade, be aware of the hot weather. The National Weather Service's forecast calls for a high of 87 degrees with a low of 71.
