Hingham Loses To Pembroke In Softball Patriot Cup, 3-2

HINGHAM, MA- The Hingham Harborwomen softball team played the Pembroke Titans in the 2nd Round of the Patriot Cup on Tuesday Afternoon. Hingham won against the North Quincy Raiders and Pembroke beat Duxbury last Tuesday in the first round.

For Pembroke, Maria Cantino went 2-for-3 while Hanna Cibotti drove in the winning run. Senior Tory O'Malley had two hits and struck out seven batters. Sophomore Sydney Straub had a stolen base and scored two runs. Pembroke would end up winning 3-2.

Pembroke will advance to the third round to face the Hanover Hawks today at 4 p.m.
