Hingham Police Credit Seat Belts For Saving Driver In Crash
Hingham police said there were no injuries when a car struck a pole and flipped on its side.
HINGHAM, MA —Hingham police are crediting seat belts with saving a driver and passenger from injury in a car crash on Route 228 northbound Sunday night.
Police said, for reasons that are under investigation, a car crossed over the center line, struck a pole and landed on its side. Police said both the driver and passenger were not injured after the airbags deployed and with the help of seat belts.
"Seat belts make a difference," police said.
