Hingham Police Seeking Information In Pedestrian Hit & Run

Officers are investigating a pedestrian crash that left a jogger with serious injuries Monday night.

HINGHAM, MA—Hingham Police are investigating a hit and run pedestrian crash that left a jogger with serious injuries Monday night.

The incident took place near 148 Lincoln St. at approximately 7:24 p.m, when a 28-year-old woman jogging in the southbound lane was struck from behind by a vehicle, said Hingham Police Department in a press release. The vehicle did not stop and continued traveling southbound toward North St. and Hingham Square.

The woman, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about the crash or who noticed any damaged vehicles pulled over after the crash is asked to call Hingham police at 781-749-1212 or leave an anonymous tip on the Submit-A-Tip link on the hpd.org homepage.
