Hingham Sub Shop Closing After 57 Years In Business
After 57 years in business, Sub Galley is closing its doors, ending an era of signatures subs and pizza.
HINGHAM, MA — After 57 years in business, Sub Galley will be closing its doors for good on Saturday. Ownership put up a sign at the sub and pizza shop at Station Street last week announcing its closing.
"After 57 years of being owned and operated by the Heapes family, Sub Galley will be closing on Saturday, April 20th," the sign reads. "Its time to retire and move on. Thank you for all your years of support."
Owner John Heapes told the Hingham Journal residents don't have to worry. They won't miss his family's signature subs and pizzas because he plans to sell the buyers his recipes.
