Hingham Vocalist to Perform at South Shore Conservatory Festival
The first annual South Shore Conservatory's Cedar Hill Jazz/Rock/Pop Festival will feature various musicians on the South Shore.

Hingham’s own Maria Veronica Marini will take the stage at the South Shore Conservatory’s first Cedar Hill Jazz/Rock/Pop Festival.
The three-day festival, held from Friday, Sept. 19 to Sunday, Sept. 21, will include performances by headliners Sugar Ray and the Bluetones.
Marini will perform Friday and will also perform in the festival’s closing performance on Sunday with the South Shore Conservatory’s Jazz/Rock/Pop faculty.

South Shore Conservatory is a nonprofit community music school with campuses in Hingham and Duxbury, and is the largest community school for the arts in Massachusetts. Marini has been a faculty member in the Jazz/Rock/Pop and Voice departments of the South Shore Conservatory since 2011.
She has placed in national competitions and has held leading roles in community musical theatre productions.

Marini has been singing since she was 5 years old and in recording studios since she was 16. She graduated from Berklee College of Music with bachelor’s degrees in vocal performance, and music production and engineering.
The festival kicks off Friday, Sept. 19, at a private home in Hingham, where festival music will be previewed. Tickets are $100 per person.
Performances will take place from Saturday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 21 in the Jane Carr Amphitheater, 1 Conservatory Dr., in Hingham.
A two-day pass for Saturday and Sunday is $60 for adults and $10 for students. A Saturday pass is $40 and a Sunday pass is $25. SSC students are able to attend Saturday and Sunday concerts for free.
