Hingham Woman Charged With OUI After Midday Crash

Hingham police said they found open bottles of alcohol in her car after the crash on Derby Street.

HINGHAM, MA — A woman was accused of drunken driving after a crash on Derby Street Thursday afternoon.

Police said the woman drove away after rear-ending a moving truck at a red light. When police found her, they said she had open containers of alcohol in her car. She was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and police said it was the second time she's been charged with OUI.

No one was injured in the crash, which occurred about 2:48 p.m.
