Hingham's Allerton House Offering Memory Care Seminars
The opening of the Allerton House earlier this year was in response to an overwhelming need for memory care services in Hingham.

The Hingham Allerton House in Crow Point, which offers care for older adults who have Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory disorder, will host two presentations in January for family members of those who need memory care.
According to a press release from the Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group, January presentations at Allerton House in Hingham include:

Participants will learn more about traditional assisted living, enjoy a luncheon of roasted chicken with apple stuffing and tour both the traditional assisted living community and the memory care neighborhood.

"Participants will learn more about the care options for family members or friends with memory care issues. Laurie Tranchell, director of the Memory Care Neighborhood at Allerton House at Harbor Park in Hingham, MA will discuss the benefits of structured programs and housing for individuals in various stages of dementia. A delicious dinner of Surf N’ Turf with winter harvest vegetables will be served.
