Hull Students Share Sustainable Living Ideas
Students from Hull's Jacobs Elementary and Memorial Middle schools recently shared ideas on sustainable living.
HULL, MA — Students from Jacobs Elementary and Memorial Middle schools recently presented their ideas for sustainability to the Hull community. At the Endless Summer Waterfront Festival at Nantasket Beach Saturday, the students displayed work from the Science Fair projects they had done last year at Jacobs Elementary School. The projects revolved around topics like renewable energy, erosion solutions and other sustainable ideas.
The students displayed their model sustainable homes at the "Homes of the Future" tent at the festival. The festival was organized by the Hull Nantasket Chamber of Commerce.
"It was so exciting to see that our students were still engaged and passionate about sustainable concepts they learned and explored last school year," said Jacobs Elementary School Principal Christine Cappadona. "I'd like to thank everyone who made the 'Hull Homes of the Future tent a reality at the festival this weekend, and I'd also like to thank each student who chose to share their incredible ideas with our community."
