Local Woman Raising Money for Cancer Treatment

Cheryl from Hull is seeking help paying costs related to her cancer treatment. 

She was diagnosed with cancer on Sept. 20, 2013, according to her GoFundMe.com page. Patch has partnered with GoFundMe and is helping to highlight worthy campaigns in local communities.

In one month, 14 people have donated $1,110. The goal is $5,000.

I also made my diagnosis public because if I didn't get my mammogram on 9/11/13 I may not have a choice. I feel if I can stress to women how important mammograms are and I can save some lives. I did the right thing! ... 

This is all new to me and I appreciate any amount anyone can donate to help ease the burden so I can focus on the most important thing which is to beat my Breast Cancer & become a Survivor!
