Program To Help South Shore Teens Think About Money Matters
South Shore Bank, Money Experience partnership to show high school students the impact of their financial decisions as teens.
HINGHAM, MA — South Shore high school students will soon have a chance to see how each financial decision they make while they are young could affect their long-term financial goals. Money Experience, a simulator and curriculum that helps young people make smart financial decisions, is partnering with South Shore Bank to make the program available in Braintree, East Bridgewater, Hingham, North Quincy, Norwell, Pembroke, Quincy, Stoughton and Weymouth.
"Weymouth High School is excited to give its students the opportunity to explore financial concepts as they relate to real life," said Allison Mezzetti, Assistant Director of Humanities at Weymouth Public Schools.
A group of 30 Massasoit Community College students studying macroeconomics will also have access to the program.
