Rockland Trust Bank Robbed on Good Friday
A man claiming to have a gun robbed the Rockland Trust Bank at 100 William B. Terry Drive on Friday. The alleged bank robber also had a note, but did not pass it to the teller.

A male suspect entered the Rockland Trust Bank located in the rear of Lincoln Plaza off Route 3A on Good Friday at 4pm. He allegedly told the teller that he had a gun, that it was a robbery, and threatened to kill her. He did not display a weapon and no one was injured.
After the teller handed him the cash, the suspect grabbed it in hand, walked out of the bank and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male; in his 30’s; some facial hair, “a few days growth;” thin build; skinny; wearing a hat – “scully type–” with sunglasses resting on top of the hat; a dark zippered up hooded jacket, with a white shirt partially visible underneath; dark sweatpants; with white sneakers or shoes.

The bank entrance and exit and the path the suspect ran from the bank are visible to commuters waiting in traffic on Lincoln St. (Rte. 3A) at the intersection of Shipyard Drive.
