Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Hingham (Expired)

The weather calls for possible heavy rain and lightning.

A thunderstorm watch will remain in effect for Plymouth County until 8 p.m. this evening, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.

Earlier, a severe thunderstorm warning was in effect and expired at 4:45 p.m.

Storms could bring heavy rain, hail, strong-to-damaging winds, lightning and flooding. Residents are urged to remain indoors and away from windows.
