Two Hingham Habormen And One Harborwoman Named Boston Globe All-Scholastics

Linda Partridge was also named the girls' tennis Division 2 Coach of the Year.

HINGHAM, MA — Three Hingham High School students-athletes have been named among the best in the area in their sport and one coach has been named a coach of the year.

Frankie Higgins was recently named the Boston Globe's boys' lacrosse Division 2 Player of the Year, Marc O’Rourke was named a lacrosse All-Scholastic, Lexi Dewire made the girls' tennis All-Scholastic team, and Linda Partridge was named the girls' tennis Division 2 Coach of the Year.

Higgins scored 22 goals with 13 assists as a longpole defender. The two-time first team All-American will attend Bucknell.

O’Rourke tallied 356 career points and was named a first-team All-American. He will continue his education at Bryant University.

On the tennis courts, Dewire was a South individual finalist. She’s ranked ninth in the US Tennis Association New England Girls U-16 rankings.

Her coach, Linda Partridge, lead the team to a 24-1 record and an appearance in the Division 2 championship.
