Vegas Kingpin Seeks Changes to Massachusetts Casino Law
Steve Wynn aims to build a $1.3 billion casino in Everett.

Steve Wynn, the Las Vegas casino big shot who aims to build a ritzy hotel and gambling palace in Everett, told reporters he'll seek changes to the state's gaming law.
Wynn was coy about what exactly he wants changed, according to the Boston Herald.Â
"In our conversations with the state, we’re attempting to get issues resolved that will comfort us," Wynn said Monday outside a meeting with the Gaming Commission. That body will rule on whether Wynn's proposal for a $1.3 billion casino can go forward.

Wynn's group is competing with Mohegan Sun, which has a rival proposal for a casino in Revere.
