Here's what will be open and closed for the holiday on Monday, Sept. 4.

HINGHAM, MA — There's good news and there's bad news about this weekend. The bad news is this is pretty much the official end to summer is upon us with Labor Day fast approaching. The good news is that you get an extra day off. After all, the whole idea behind the national holiday was to honor the social and economic achievements of American workers.
We've got you covered with what's open and what’s closed on Labor Day, and don’t forget - with the Monday holiday, trash and recycling will be delayed a day.

- Town Offices: Closed
- Banks - All banks are closed on Labor Day.
- Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
- Liquor Stores - open at owner's discretion
