2 OUI Arrests In Somerville Over Memorial Day Weekend: Police Log

Monday, May 24

• Michael Whelan, 41, of Medford, was arrested at 6:37 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. He also faces warrant charges of operating under the influence of drugs, failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

Wednesday, May 26

• Burton Faulkner, 65, of Somerville, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. and charged with operating under the influence of drugs.

Saturday, May 29

• A 39-year-old Somerville man was arrested at 10:04 p.m. on Saugus warrant charges of identity fraud and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

• Stephen LaRue, 27, of Woburn, was arrested at 1:33 p.m. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

• Shanice Reddick, 29, of Somerville, was arrested at 3:14 a.m. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, open container inside a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
