Alleged Drunk Driver Takes a Snooze at the Wheel: Police
Police found the Billerica man asleep at the wheel while stopped at a red light, according to reports.

SOMERVILLE, MA - A Billerica man allegedly had a bit too much to drink and fell asleep while stopped at a traffic light, Wicked Local reported.
Robert O’Rourke was arrested for charges of a second offense OUI liquor, Wicked Local reported.
Police responded to reports of a white Jeep in the middle of the Beacon and Washington streets intersection with the driver slumped down behind the wheel at 2:12 a.m., Wicked Local reported.

Police found O’Rourke asleep with his foot pressing down the brake pedal, Wicked Local reported. O’Rourke reportedly did not wake up until a police officer knocked on the window with his flashlight.
O’Rourke initially said he had "very little" to drink but became loud and angry soon after, Wicked Local reported.

Officers reported the vehicle smelled like alcohol and the suspect failed a sobriety test, according to Wicked Local.
