Brewery, Taproom Opening Next To Somerville's Boynton Yards
The upcoming mixed-use complex will feature residential, life science and retail space.
SOMERVILLE, MA — A brewery and taproom will open next to the upcoming Boynton Yards development in Somerville, Boston Restaurant Talk reported. Portico Brewing will open on South Street, close to the former Somerville Brewing Company location, a source told the site.
The mixed-use Boynton Yards complex will feature residential, life science, retail and office space. Portico Brewing currently contracts at Mercury Brewing/Ipswich Ale Brewery in Ipswich.
The brewery is expected to open in the first half of 2021, Boston Restaurant Talk reported. It will be located at 45 South St.
