Coronavirus: Where Students, Residents Can Get Food In Somerville

Somerville has set up a way for students to get fed during the school closure. Other groups are supporting hungry residents.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Schools closing in Somerville over the new coronavirus means many students would normally miss out on meals they usually get in school. But the school district will offer breakfast and lunch for students and families in need starting Monday, March 16, the Somerville Public Schools said.

Meals will be served between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday through Friday at three locations:

  • East Somerville Community School, 50 Cross St
  • Winter Hill Community Innovation School, 115 Sycamore St
  • West Somerville Neighborhood School, 177 Powder House Blvd
