Eagle Eye Institute's Giving Tuesday Benefit at Flatbread Somerville

Eagle Eye Institute is kicking off the season of giving with a Benefit Night at Flatbreads Company in Davis Square, Somerville on Tuesday, December 2nd. Between 5pm and 9pm, join us for pizza, candlepin bowling and raffle. 10% of the night’s pizza sales (take out included) will be donated to Eagle Eye! So eat in or take out some delicious and nutritious Flatbreads pizza, and celebrate Giving Tuesday with us!

A global movement to encourage and celebrate giving back, Giving Tuesday was started three years ago by a group of non-profits. The founders wanted a way to bring “giving” back to the Holiday Season, so they established “Giving Tuesday” on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. There is now Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday! The goal is for individuals, families, businesses and charities to pledge their time or money to a non-profit organization doing good in world.

Eagle Eye Institute is proud to be a part of the Giving Tuesday movement again this year. Based in Somerville, Massachusetts, Eagle Eye provides hands-on exploratory learning on the environment and empowers urban youth to play an active role caring for our environment. Giving Tuesday is a beautiful movement that strongly aligns with our vision of creating a world in which all people are at peace with themselves, others and nature; a world of healthy individuals living in healthy communities, where all people are engaged in the care and protection of Earth’s resources every day. We encourage you to join the movement and give freely on December 2nd.
