SOMERVILLE, MA - A man was arrested for allegedly smashing a glass into another man's face at the Burren, Wicked Local reported.

Gregory Radin, of Somerville, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on Saturday, Wicked Local reported.

Police were called to the Burren at around 1 a.m. after reports of an assault, Wicked Local reported.

The victim told police the suspect (later identified as Radin) came up to him at the pub earlier that night and ran his finger across his face, Wicked Local reported.

The victim reportedly shoved Radin and told him not to do it again, Wicked Local reported.

Radin allegedly returned 20 minutes later and pulled the same odd finger stunt, Wicked Local reported.

Radin reportedly hit the victim in the face with a 10-ounce glass after he was once again shoved away, Wicked Local reported.

The victim's forehead gash required 30 stitches, Wicked Local reported.
