Law Student From Somerville To Compete On 'Jeopardy!'
A Somerville resident is a contestant on an upcoming episode of America's Favorite Quiz Show.

SOMERVILLE, MA — A local man is a contestant on an upcoming episode of "Jeopardy!" Law student Adam Smith will compete on America's Favorite Quiz Show Wednesday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. on WBZ-TV.
The show, currently in its 36th season, is the top-rated quiz show on television. It holds the Guinness World Record for most Emmys won by a TV game show – 35 – and won the 2011 Peabody Award.
Earlier this month, "Jeopardy!" and "Wheel of Fortune," which are both based in Culver City, CA, started taping shows without an audience due to fears over the new coronavirus. Production sources at the two shows told TMZ the precautionary move was made due to "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek's pancreatic cancer, the high average age of the shows' core audiences and the fact that manny audience members are from out-of-town.
