Man Steals Truck From Somerville DPW Yard - Caught Almost Immediately

Somerville Police report that an individual stole a truck from the DPW Yard and crashed it through a locked gate on Thursday, June 18, a bit before 3:37 p.m.

As a result, Everett Frederick Goss, 47, no address listed, has been charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, malicious destruction of property, and has had his license revoked.

Two prominent members of the DPW say they watched the entire incident, as a stolen truck allegedly driven by Goss crashed through the DPW Yard’s gate. They proceeded to follow the truck until police caught up to it at a red light at Webster and Washington Street.

Police say the front windshield of the truck was smashed upon their arrival, and the Goss claimed to be a member of the CIA shortly before his arrest.
