New Year's Day In Somerville: What's Open, Closed

SOMERVILLE, MA — Happy New Year! As you get your resolutions in order and step into the new year, it might be helpful to know what's open and closed. Somerville municipal offices will be closed on Jan. 1 for New Year's Day, but they will be open normal hours on Thursday, Jan. 2. There will be a one-day delay for trash pickup: Wednesday on Thursday, Thursday on Friday and Friday on Saturday.
