Obituary: William R. Chisholm, Jr., 62, Of Somerville
Bill was an avid fisherman who enjoyed the peace and solitude of fly fishing the rivers and streams of New England.

SOMERVILLE, MA – William R. "Bill" Chisholm, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home in Somerville on Sunday, April 15, 2018, he was 62. Born and raised in Somerville he was the son of the late Doris (Jackson) and William R. Chisholm. A graduate of Somerville High School, Bill worked in the trucking field and was a dispatcher for DaSilva Transportation. For several years he resided in Vermont, before returning to his home town of Somerville.
Bill was an avid fisherman who mastered the art of the fly reel. He enjoyed the peace and solitude of fly fishing the rivers and streams of New England.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Roderick and her husband Mark of Connecticut; his brothers, Walter Chisholm and his wife Donna of Somerville, Kevin Chisholm and his wife Patti of Huntington, MA and Greg Chisholm and his wife Cindy of Pensicola, Florida. Bill was also the cherished uncle of six nephews, three nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, a date and time will be announced soon.
