Playground Coming To Allen Street Community Garden
The city is holding its first community meeting this month for input on design ideas.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The city of Somerville this week announced plans to add a playground to the Allen Street Community Garden space. Officials will hold the first community meeting this month to discuss design ideas.
The garden, which opened in 2007, is one of 11 citywide community gardens. The program is partially funded by the Somerville Conservation Fund.
The first community meeting will be held Monday, Feb. 12 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Public Safety Building Community Room, 220 Washington St., Union Square.
