Police Seek Driver Who Hit 9-Year-Old Boy In Somerville
The driver fled the scene after injuring a boy who was walking his dog Tuesday morning, police said.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Police are asking the public to help them identify a car who hit a 9-year-old boy in Somerville Tuesday morning. The boy was walking his dog when he was struck at Broadway and Walnut Street around 7:52 a.m., police said. He sustained minor injuries.
Police said the vehicle did not stop and continued east on Broadway. Police described it as a gold-colored passenger car.
The dog, Snuggles, was briefly lost after the crash but later found safe.
