Puma Donates Uniforms, Equipment To Somerville High School
The sneaker maker is expected to open its North American headquarters at Assembly Row in 2021.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Puma is donating athletic uniforms and equipment to Somerville High School ahead of the sneaker maker's move to Assembly Row. The company donated gear to the soccer, basketball and golf teams, and each athlete will be outfitted with new jerseys and jackets.
Somerville High School will receive equipment such as balls, duffel bags and pinnies, field tents and flags.
"As PUMA approaches its upcoming headquarters move to Assembly Square, we’re continuing to look for new ways to give back and engage with the local Somerville community," Bob Philion, president of Puma North America, said in a statement. "We have deep roots in golf, basketball, and soccer, and are proud to support this next generation of student-athletes with the equipment they need to look and perform their best. We’re excited to become even more ingrained with the Somerville community as we get ready to call this vibrant city our new home."
