SOMERVILLE, MA — Police are investigating a reported shooting in Somerville early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to Canal Lane for a report of shots fired around 1:37 a.m., police said. They did not find any victims of the apparent shooting.

The report is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Somerville Police Department Detective Bureau at ext. 7226.
