SOMERVILLE, MA - The Somerville Police Department, in partnership with the Middlesex Sheriff’s office, will hold a gun buyback event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 25 at the Department of Public Works, 1 Franey Road, Somerville, to help get unwanted guns out of homes.
Those who bring in unwanted firearms will receive a gift card worth $100 for each firearm turned in. No ID will be required; no questions will be asked.
