Somerville Heads To Rindge For 2017 Thanksgiving Game
The Highlanders enter the annual rivalry game with a 6-3 record.
SOMERVILLE, MA – The Somerville Highlanders varsity football team squares off against the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons for the annual Thanksgiving rivalry game. The game begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Russell Field in Cambridge.
Somerville High School enters the game with a 6-3 record, coming off a heartbreaking 21-20 playoff loss Nov. 3. The Falcons meanwhile have struggled in 2017 and will face the Highlanders with a 1-9 record. Rindge netted its sole win Nov. 3 against Medford.
Somerville won last year's matchup 40-20. The Highlanders have not lost to the Falcons since 2014.
