Somerville Keeps Business Capacity Limit At 25 Percent

The city will not join the rest of the state in allowing businesses to operate at 40 percent capacity starting Monday.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The city will not join the rest of Massachusetts in raising capacity limits for certain businesses to 40 percent on Monday. Capacity limits will remain at 25 percent or the limit set in specific businesses' city-approved health and safety plan.

There is also a stricter limit on outdoor gatherings. No more than 10 people are allowed at both indoor and outdoor gatherings, unless otherwise permitted by the city.
