Somerville Loses Wynn Casino Appeal
Wynn is cleared to build on its 33-acre site across the Mystic River from Somerville.
SOMERVILLE, MA - Somerville has lost its appeal to block the Wynn Resorts casino from moving forward with its $2.1 billion project across the river in Everett, the Boston Globe reported today.
The Wynn Resorts casino secured a key victory today as a state environmental official granted a waterfront permit, the Globe reported.
The approval clears the way for Wynn to begin construction on the 33-acre site.
