Somerville Murder Unsolved After 12 Years
Police are still searching for the killer of Charline Rosemond, who was found murdered on April 13, 2009.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville police are renewing a call for information about the murder of Charline Rosemond on the anniversary of her death. Rosemond, an Everett resident, was found shot to death on April 13, 2009.
Rosemond's family had reported her missing five days earlier after she didn't return home from buying a new car. Her body was found behind the wheel of her father's car, which was parked in the lot of a Somerville apartment complex.
No one has ever been charged with Rosemond's murder, but a Somerville man was convicted of perjury for lying to a grand jury during the investigation. Rosemond's murder was featured on an episode of Boston 25's "New England's Unsolved" series in 2019.
