Somerville Resident To Compete On 'Jeopardy!'

SOMERVILLE, MA – A local man is a contestant on an upcoming episode of "Jeopardy!" Accountant Morgan Burns will compete on America's Favorite Quiz Show Monday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. on WBZ-TV.

The show, currently in its 35th season, is the top-rated quiz show on television. It holds the Guinness World Record for most Emmys won by a TV game show – 34 – and won the 2011 Peabody Award.

Alex Trebek has been the game show's host since the reboot premiered in 1984. "Jeopardy!" was created by Merv Griffin and originally ran from 1964 to 1979.
