Somerville Shots Fired Lead to Arrest
Police said the man fired eight shots from his window in Somerville.

SOMERVILLE, MA - Somerville police arrested a 26-year-old Belmont Street man July 23 after he allegedly fired a gun eight times from his window
Spencer Ringwood, of 106 Belmont St., was arrested July 23 at 5:09 a.m. at home and charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet, disturbing the peace and improper storage of a firearm.
Police said witnesses said they heard and saw a gun fired from the third floor of 106 Belmont St.

Police said they entered the home and observed vomit on the steps leading to the apartment. Ringwood was laying in bed with empty cases all on the bed and a handgun lying on the floor beside him, police said.
