Somerville Snow Emergency Lifted
Schools remained closed Monday but the snow emergency was lifted at 11:30 a.m.

SOMERVILLE, MA - The snow emergency for Somerville was lifted at 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Residents who parked their cars in municipal or school lots were given until 1:30 p.m. to move them onto the street, officials announced. Cars not moved within the allotted two hours were subject to ticketing and fines.
Officials also reminded residents that homeowners are responsible for removing snow and ice from sidewalks abutting their property within six daylight hours of the end of snowfall.
