Somerville Uber Driver on Drugs Crashes: Police
Driver said he took xanax, police said.
SOMERVILLE, MA - An uber driver was on drugs when he crashed into two vehicles on Powderhouse Boulevard Saturday, July 16.
Edward Costello, 22, of West Roxbury, told an officer he had taken prescription xanax before getting behind the wheel. Police said he hit a parked car and a U-Haul truck on Powder House Road. Costello was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs.
