Somerville Weather Forecast: No New York, But Snow On The Way

Weather service says Somerville should expect to play a minor role in the storm battering much of the East Coast.

SOMERVILLE, MA—While Winter Storm Jonas is making its presence known on the east coast, Somerville residents are lucky enough to be just outside of its wrath.

According to the National Weather Service, Somerville may receive one to three inches of snow. However, Weather.com says that Somerville can expect 3 to 5 inches of white stuff.

The National Weather Service says that snow is likely until about 10 p.m., with lows between 17 and 20 degrees. Gusts could reach 36 miles per hour, but between 1 to 3 inches should be expected.
