Somerville Weather Forecast: Winter Warm-Up

SOMERVILLE, MA -- Don’t get too attached to that street snow Winter Storm Jonas left us.

Temperatures in Somerville will flirt with 50 degrees over the next week, helping melt away the several inches of snow a storm dropped just a couple days ago.

The weather is expected to be windy with temps as high as 49 degrees Tuesday and stay comfortable enough through the weekend, coming back up to around 47 on Sunday.

The National Weather Service warns of potential for another storm system Thursday night into Friday, but says it doesn’t appear likely.

• Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a high of 49. Winds up to 18 miles per hour.
• Wednesday: Still cloudy in the low 40s. Could dip to a low of 25 overnight.
• Thursday: Bright, sunny, and temps in the low 40s.
• Friday: Clouds return, but temps still hover in high 30s.
