Somerville's Medford St. Closed Through Friday

On Thursday Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6, Medford St. will be closed due to ongoing work at the Medford St. Bridge in preparation for the Green Line Extension.

Medford St. will be closed between Walnut and Pearl Streets. Vehicles will not be permitted on that section of the road between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on both days.

Vehicles traveling west on Medford St. will be detoured onto Walnut St. and Pearl St. Vehicles traveling east will continue to be detoured at Pearl St. to McGrath Highway.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
